Materials for 3D printing

We choose the material to suit the part's use. If you're unsure, tell us about the environment, load and flexibility you need.

Materials usually available

PLA can be used for models and indoor accessories. PETG is an option for practical parts in everyday use.

ASA is also used for outdoor objects. TPU is flexible and can be used for covers or soft stops. We assess the specific application with your brief.

How to choose PLA, PETG, ASA or TPU

PLA may suit decorative indoor models; we can also consider PETG for practical parts. ASA may be suitable outdoors, while TPU is an option when flexibility is needed.

The choice also depends on shape, printing method, heat and load. Tell us how the part will be used and we will help you choose; material alone does not guarantee the strength or lifetime of the finished part.

Materials available to order

ABS, PC, PETG-CF and PA6-CF can be sourced to order. Current material rates are on our pricing page.

We can print objects intended for food contact, but we do not guarantee their suitability for that use.
